Before disabling manufacturing
- Make sure there are no negative balances for products or dishes in stock. If a balance is negative, or a dish that should have been produced is missing, manufacture it first so its balance becomes zero — only then disable manufacturing.
- If you still have ready-made dishes or preparations left in stock, break them down into ingredients before disabling manufacturing.
To do this, go to Inventory → Manufactures, click ︙ next to the relevant manufacture, and select Delete. Otherwise, ingredient deductions for manufactures that have already been deleted will remain visible in the movement report.
To disable manufacturing for one dish or a preparation
- Go to Products → Dishes/Preparations in the management console.
- Find the dish, click • • • next to it.
- In the menu that appears, select Disable manufacturing.
To disable manufacturing for all dishes at once
- Go to Settings → General in the Poster management console.
- Scroll down to the Management settings section.
- Uncheck Use manufacturing of dishes and preparations.
- Click Save and refresh the page.
After you save the settings, manufacturing will be turned off for the account, and the Inventory → Manufactures tab will disappear from the management console.
What happens after disabling manufacturing
- Balances of already-produced dishes are removed from stock — that is, dishes for which manufacturing was disabled.
- Ready-made dishes and preparations still in stock can no longer be transferred between storage locations or added as a supply.
Limitations
- Disabling manufacturing only affects future sales. Manufactures already created are not cancelled, and previous deductions stay in the history and reports.
