To move stock balance between your storage locations:
- Go to Inventory → Transfers in the management console.
- Click Add.
- Select Transfer time and date.
- Select a storage locations to transfer goods from and to.
- Select products and set up a quantity.
- Click Save.
💡 In case you missed to add a transfer on time, simply add with a previous date. Backdated transfers are available within current inventory check period only.
☝️ Create transfers of goods between warehouses even if the sending warehouse currently has zero or negative stock. If the stock balance becomes negative after the transfer, Poster will show a corresponding notification on the screen so you can review the transfer and adjust the actual stock balances later.
💡 Connect the Transfer Request integration so employees can create requests or transfer products between warehouses directly in the Poster register app.
If the same ingredients are stored in different warehouses at your location, set up write-off rules by preparation station.
