What to do if the Xprinter Q260III does not connect to Poster via USB

Connect the printer to a Windows computer using a USB 2.0 AM-BM cable and search for the device. If the printer is not detected, install the system driver.

If the Xprinter Q260III does not start working automatically after connecting it via USB, install the driver manually:

  1. Connect the printer to a Windows or macOS computer using a USB 2.0 AM-BM cable.
  2. Download the driver.
  3. Run XPrinter Driver Setup V7.77.exe.
  4. Select the language and click OK.
  5. Select I accept the agreement and click Next. For all remaining steps, keep clicking Next until the driver installation starts.
  6. Select the checkbox next to Launch XPrinter Driver V7.77 and click Finish.

  7. Select Windows and choose the printer connection type — USB.
  8. Select the printer model based on the paper width. For example, for an 80 mm printer with an auto cutter, select XP-80C.

  9. Click Install Now and wait for the driver installation to complete.
  10. Confirm the action to open the printer settings window.
  11. Open the Ports tab and select the port the printer is connected to. In most cases, this is USB001.
  12. Click OK and search for devices on the Poster POS.
