How to export ABC-analysis to Excel

ABC-analysis helps you identify which items generate the largest share of revenue and profit. Let’s look at how to save the report as a PDF and convert it into an Excel spreadsheet.

Save ABC analysis as a PDF:

  1. Open Reports → ABC-analysis.
  2. Select the period, waiters, and categories.
  3. Click Print.
  4. In the window that appears, select Save as PDF.

Open the PDF and make sure that the table is readable, and all columns fit correctly on the pages.

💡 If the table layout is broken, reduce page margins or set the scale to 90–95%.

Convert PDF to Excel

Microsoft Excel

  1. Open Excel.
  2. Go to Data → Get data → From file → From PDF.
  3. Select the saved PDF and import the tables.
  4. Check columns, merged cells, number formats.

Google Sheets

  1. Upload the PDF to Google Drive.
  2. Open the file with Google Docs.
  3. Copy the table into Google Sheets.
  4. Check column headers and number formats.
